Great food, fast service, good be of our family's FAVORITE restaurants in State Colege!

I thought this was a good mexican restaurant... quite a few options but also the standard options. My friend ordered the chicken soup that had chunks of avocado that was amazing. My and my other friend ordered this burrito bowl (last option on that list) and we customized it. My other friend had the quesadillas... overall good atmosphere and they are all about college games on the tvs!

In town for a 12pm football game. #3 & #4 in the nation!!! Should've been a 7pm prime time game!!! Stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham and this was 1 block away. Checked on Yelp and saw it was a solid 4.5. Seated immediately. Staff friendly and attentive. Food came timely. Place was clean. Great flavors!!! Full bar, so my wife enjoyed a Long Island!!! Excellent for couples and families with children... Enjoy!!!

MUST TRY IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN!! We visited this place during Penn State Family weekend. We were a family of 6, and were sitter in a both which was plenty of room . The servers were friendly, and made great suggestions. Great service, drinks, food, vibe, and the music was great!!!! Only thing I would change - the table side guacamole was NOT much for the price but was delicious.

Let me start by saying: the only reason for the 4/5 starts and not 5/5 is only because of their dessert. The main entrees and $4 margaritas for game day were SO delicious those were a 5/5. The margaritas were actually strong and had such good flavor especially for being only $4 margs. I preferred the enchiladas el jefe over the chipotle ones but I love queso so that made me biased. The sopapilla is a sad excuse of sopapilla and i was expecting the traditional one like a cheesecake (ugh) and the flan was weird and lumpy. But everything else was so delicious and great quality though!!!

Great spot close to Penn State and hotels in the area. Ribeye tacos were delicious, friendly staff and ambience!

This is my second visit here in the last year. Great food, quick service and good size portions. Chips and salsa are great. I got a combo meal and my son got a burrito. Two meals - good quality, nice service. I'll be back. Thx

NATENation, STRAP THE F$&@ UP! We got a big one here, I am calling in assistance from 6 other cuisine creators - this will be fun Mexican review and journey, written 7 different literary voices! Let's start with the ambiance, now man did they get the Mexican theme down felt like I was in middle Mexico, with the Aztecs in thier plaza! Amazing! Me meal: I am a Mexican food peasant I have lived in Arizona with some of the realest most authentic amazing Mexican quisine, but all I ask for all I ask for - cheesy Mexican rice and chicken and boy of boy did plaza mexicana deliver! Hit the nail on the freaking head creamy delicious "fried" rice yes they call it fried rice which does throw you for a loop but ay caramba that was good!! Me lady's meal: Hello NATENation. Pleasure to meet everyone, I've heard so much about you all. I had the Baja fish tacos which came with a side of rice and cheesy black beans. It was DELISH. The fish was beer battered white fish with a fresh topping of slaw and a scrumptious spicy creamy orange sauce (not sure what the sauce was unfortunately). Though I could not finish it all, the last taco was passed around the table and thoroughly enjoyed by others! 5 stars. Me lady's dad's meal: Was a ground beef burrito and a ground beef taco and it was average at best. I was hoping for a meal that would help me bowl a 165. I think I'm only going to bowl a 122. Me lady's mom meal: (birthday queen) Me lady's mom here. The grilled steak burrito was very tasty. It wasn't very hot though (temperature wise). But the portion was HUGE so I have a nice lunch the next day. Me lady's older brothers boyfriends meal: I got the pollo Sonora. It was not a snore-a. Very complex flavors made for an exciting treat. Me lady older brothers meal: Pineapple? Steak? Chicken? Peppers? Onions? Yeah, they were all at the fiesta and it was very good. Me lady's younger brothers meal: I got the pastor quesadilla with pork and all I can say is arriba! The flavors were bursting in my mouth with a sweet cheesy sauce, pineapple, and pork. It came with a nice side of rice that complemented the quesadilla very well. Not only that, it came with a salad that was lettuce and sour cream. While that may sound underwhelming, it was anything but. Nothing bad with getting some greens in and the sour cream was a fantastic addition to the quesadilla/rice combo. If Mexico's anything like this get me on a plane ASAP! Hi, it's nate again! The end of the meal did get weird me lady's older brother started talking about catheters but that neither here or there! Haha The birdthday and service was spot on the fried ice cream, was more like Italian ice which makes it disgusting , the song! The song! Oh Feliz cumplayanos me lady's momma!!!
